The Deck
Relive the heart-racing, knee-wobbling euphoria of your first crush by releasing your inner child at Luna Park. Love is literally in the air as couples are invited to take a ride on the iconic Ferris Wheel for a romantic three-course dinner or more casual platters, high in the sky. If altitude isn’t your thing, The Deck is curating a bespoke three-course menu for $90pp down on terra firma. Or, there’s champagne and freshly-shucked oysters for $2.50.

Bistrot Gavroche
No one nails romance quite like the French. Bistro Gavroche’s three course prix fixe menu covers off all the favourites, including grass-fed scotch fillet with Béarnaise sauce and French fries, and crepes suzette. Sit amid classic French bistro surrounds – including hand-painted tiled walls and a looming four-metre antique French silk weaver’s table – and enjoy a glass of Billecart-Salmon Rose Champagne and a photo as a souvenir. $95pp.

A glass of Ruinart Rose champagne on arrival will help ease you into the mood at Banksii this Valentine’s Day. Hamish Ingham and Rebecca Lines’ (Bar H) botanicals-inspired 200-seat restaurant and vermouth bar at Barangaroo is offering a $140pp menu designed to share, with hits like their ocean trout rillettes with red pepper relish and charred endives; and sticky beef short ribs. End the night on a sweet note with the famous boozy Banskii trifle: vermouth sponge, burnt vanilla custard and rosella jelly.

Icebergs Dining Room and Bar
Cool off with a cheeky dip before sitting down to a special set menu by executive chef Monty Koludrovic at this eastern Sydney institution. There’ll be music spinning by DJ Stefano Pierozzi to keep things upbeat. Splash out celebrating Cupid’s day of days with a full journey with matching wines for $325pp at Jock Zonfrillo’s award-winning Adelaide restaurant. Husband and wife duo James and Kylie Gallagher’s are making produce king at their recently opened Allium. The slick black and white interiors and fresh, produce-driven menu (lightly cured kingfish is paired with compressed cucumber and buttermilk, and green apple sorbet) will make it a night to remember.
