And it’s run by Massimo Bottura.
The Gucci fashion empire continues to bloom into lifestyle territory, with the much loved Italian label introducing a restaurant in recent days.
Re-opening Florence’s Gucci Museo building under new guide Gucci Garden, the brand has welcomed a museum, boutique shop and fine dining restaurant in the one space.

The eatery is run by renowned chef Massimo Bottura, who is behind the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Osteria Francescana, and has been dubbed Gucci Osteria.

The six-room concept store was designed by Gucci designer Alessandro Michele and will play host to a number of pieces collected from throughout the brand’s history, alongside recent designs, memorabilia, contemporary art, and a cinema for fans of the brand to enjoy.

As for what exactly is on the menu, guests can expect to nibble on Gucci tortellini in parmesan sauce (€20), Gucci taka buns filled with pork belly and lacquered with balsamic and miso (€15), or Gucci tongue (€25).
For those eager simply to snack, there’s also a Gucci cappuccino that comes with logo’d sugarcubes (naturally). Of course, all dishes are served on Gucci plates that are available for purchase in-store. Entrance to the Gucci Garden itself will set visitors back about $15, but all money will be donated to support restoration projects around the building’s home of Florence.
