Sydney fine-dining favourite Est. to close in December

Sydney fine-diner Est. has announced after 19 years of service it will close its doors one final time come December.

Helmed by chef Jacob Davey and previously by Peter Doyle, the Merivale restaurant has been a longstanding staple in Sydney’s fine-dining scene.

“After 19 wonderful years, Est. will close for major renovations in 2020. The time is right for a change, and a shift in focus to a fresh and exciting new project within the space,” a Merivale spokesperson said.

“In the meantime, head chef Jacob Davey and his team will join Jordan Toft to help launch the highly-anticipated new middle level at Coogee Pavilion.”

Est. will hold its last service on Saturday, 21 December 2019.
