At this photogenic venue, fresh seafood is served with one inimitably iconic view.
What’s in a name? Well, when it comes to the all-new Harbourfront Seafood Restaurant perched on Sydney’s sparkling Circular Quay, the name says it all.
Here, Head Chef Craig Knudson – who’s earnt his chops at bucket-list-topper Qualia and regional gem, the Royal Mail Hotel, Dunkeld – has designed a menu befitting this grand location overlooking Sydney Opera House.

And, Knudson explains, it’s all about letting the seafood shine, “I don’t want to get locked into being influenced by any one cuisine. The seafood is the hero of almost all the dishes and the flavours and techniques are there to complement, not dominate,” he says.
Seafood platters feature such crowd favourites as Balmain bugs with remoulade, Abrolhos octopus carpaccio with salsa verde, cured scallops, Appellation Sydney Rock Oysters and Humpty Doo barramundi.

Alongside the platters, the likes of kingfish carpaccio with fermented black bean, grilled lobster with XO butter, and seafood classics including linguine with spanner crab and a serving of chilled tiger prawns star on the menu.
The sprawling 300-seat restaurant – set in the recently restored Campbell’s Stores in The Rocks – is set to entice sun-seeking locals and visitors seeking a quintessential Sydney experience alike.

The heritage-listed Campbell’s Stores dining precinct is set to welcome a host of neighbouring restaurants and bars in the coming months.
