Sydney's has scored another killer rooftop bar.
The team behind mega-venue Shell House have helped the CBD up its cool factor with The International at Martin Place. The spacious former Botswana Butchery site, nestled between Harry Seidler’s ‘Modernist Mushroom’ and the iconic MLC Centre, taps into the mid-century modern vibe of the area, with three key spaces: The Grill, The Wine Bar, and The Panorama Bar.
The Grill is led by culinary director Joel Bickford, focusing on quality ingredients and seasonal dishes. Guests enter through a sleek walnut bar that seats just four, perfect for enjoying ice-cold martinis and Champagne before dinner. The dining area boasts eye-catching marble flooring and features a cold bar filled with fresh seafood alongside an open kitchen equipped with wood-fired and charcoal grills.

The Wine Bar shakes up the traditional wine scene with a casual approach to drinking and dining where guests can explore global wine trends while enjoying great food in a relaxed environment.
The jewel in the crown is The Panorama Bar, located on the top floor, which offers stunning views of the Sydney skyline. This space is designed for casual rooftop gatherings, whether you’re there for sunlit lunches, after-work drinks or late-night fun. A menu of small plates and light snacks, with options from the cold bar and hibachi grills, will keep you fuelled while DJs spin as the sun sets.
