Shannon Bennett’s new addition to Melbourne’s dining scene Ike-jime has just welcomed a new dessert degustation, and what a degustation it is. Kicking off on May 23, the event series will be held on Wednesday evenings and will introduce a selection of sweets partnered with specific cocktails from 7.30pm. It’s a self-described “theatrical and interactive evening” that partners a sweet treat with a front row view of the new restaurant’s pastry chefs and bartenders while they create the four sweet courses for guests to enjoy. The meal itself is $55 per person with bookings available online.
