Feel like it’s time to elevate your festa del formaggio? Then this new cheese knife collection is for you.
Ceramics crafted in Puglia, hand-printed linen from Emilia-Romagna – when it comes to wanderlust-inducing tableware collections, Alex and Trahanas always deliver.
Now, the Sydney-based lifestyle brand has released a new cheesy collection – the “Formaggio Odyssey” – featuring the Vela cheese knives, created by leading Italian-Australian industrial designer David Caon.

Crafted in olive wood and steel, the trio of knives – which come swathed in a striped linen storage wrap – are inspired by the shapes of sailing boats cutting through the (preferably Italian) ocean (“Vela” is the Italian word for sailing, after all) and have a European aesthetic that will elevate any cheese platter.

Speaking of the platter, Alex and Trahanas have also designed the new Corda cheese board to round out the collection – available online from August.
