Mitch Orr loves old-school rap and hip-hop

Tupac, Ja Rule and Rick Ross - chef Mitch Orr has big love for the hip hop kings.

Is Mitch Orr the coolest chef in Sydney right now? He very well could be – his debut restaurant, Acme, serves up impressively inventive fare, and not just for the hell of it. Nope – everything at Acme is considered and deliberate, which is what makes it so fabulous (along with the price – desserts come in at $10, a welcome change for Sydney). If you can’t get to Acme, though, it’s worth following Mitch on Twitter (@krillinontherun), Instagram (@instakrill) and listening to his podcast, The Mitchen. And if you can’t do any of that, then we’ve done some homework for you – these are the top ten tracks on rotation in the Acme kitchen.

“Fire Flame,” Birdman feat. Lil Wayne
“You Know I Got it,” Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z –
“Lifestyle,” Rich Gang
“Only,” Nicki Minaj feat. Lil Wayne and Drake
“No Hands,” Waka Flocka Flame feat Wale and Roscoe Dash
“Put it On Me,” Ja Rule
“Thug Passion,” Tupac
“Don’t Leave Me,” Blackstreet
“Throw Some Mo,” Rae Sremmurd
“Freek’N You,” Jodeci
