Your favourite store just got better.
Prepare to spend even more time at Sephora after an announcement made yesterday revealed that the global beauty giant is making a move into the health and wellness category.
The announcement, which marked the official global launch, was made in Sydney, drawing on Australian’s natural love for health and wellness. As the first market the adopt the worldwide initiative, expect to find local brands from Elle Macpherson’s WelleCo, Miranda Kerr’s KORA and Carla Oates’ The Beauty Chef.
“Our customers always want the next big thing, and the demand for wellness has been growing for some time”, said SEPHORA Australia’s Digital Category Manager Alice Macdonald. “Women are seeing beauty as a natural extension of their health, and are scanning beauty labels just as thoroughly as they do the labels on their food. The social movement for the wellness category is really strong with our customers, and we are so excited to be able to cater to their needs.”

Other products listed in the announcement include organic skin-foods, collagen boosters and super elixirs, building on the retailer’s commitment to reinforce that “it’s all about beauty from the inside out.”
Shoppers can already get a piece of the action online, while those wanting to shop in-store will have to wait until early September.
