Expanding on their existing ceramics offering is Sydney-based company Alex and Trahanas, who collect artisanal ceramics from Italian shores. Now with summer nearly afoot, the duo behind the brand has just launched their new summer collection focused around the entertaining season (and its demand for statement-worthy dishes).

“Our Apulian ceramics have been inspired by a rolling long lunch on a terrace in the south of Italy. A long table with all our favourite people, plenty of wine and delicious, simple food. This is where the Mediterranean palette, playful brush strokes and expressive faces come to life and really light up the table,” explains one half of the Alex and Trahanas duo, Heleena Trahanas.

The new summer edition includes a range of hand-painted Apulian ceramics designed with intent around the entertainer. The collection includes espresso cups, drinking cups, dessert and side plates, bowls, and aperitivo serving plates just in time for the festive (and gifting) season commences.
