Off the back of the altogether surprising combo of Raspberry Twisties, the snack maestros are proving unstoppable in their twisted new trend. Twisties have today announced that their newest collab will be with none other than the overlord of food courts, Donut King.

A cinnamon doughnut-flavoured Twistie will be available on August 7 across Australia so mark your calendars, we guess? 

Given the popularity and – dare we say, success – of the raspberry Twisties, a flavour combo that was voted on by the public, it’s fair to say that this slightly more savoury cinnamon doughnut flavour could well be a smash hit.

The limited-run Donut King collaboration is one of just a very small handful of flavour deviations in Twisties’ 70-plus year history. So it came as a bit of a surprise to Raquel Hine, Donut King marketing manager, who said “We couldn’t have been more excited when Twisties approached us to create a limited edition Twisties flavour. We’re always looking for innovative ways to bring new flavour experiences to sweet treat lovers and couldn’t [have] thought of a better combination than two iconic Australian brands coming together.” 

The new Twisties Donut King Cinnamon Donut will be available for RRP $2.70 (80g) from  August 7 at Donut King, Woolworth’s, Coles, IGA, Ampol, BP, Coles Express and selected independent retailers.
