Just when we thought we could limp into the new year relatively unscathed, Woolworths has confirmed they’re no longer stocking Allen’s Jaffas.

The chocolate-orange staple has been a beloved treat for movie-goers, afternoon snackers, and everyone in between for decades but the retail giant axed the stock after a recent internal review.

“We’re constantly reviewing the range of products we sell and that can mean some are replaced,” a Woolworths spokesperson said.

“We’re always working to make sure we stock the range of products that have the broadest customer appeal.”

It’s not all bad news though, with the Allen’s classic still available at other supermarkets and independent retailers.
