Forget the dad jokes and paper crowns this Chrissy, because ALDI is coming in hot with the bon bons your celebration really needs.

From next Wednesday, November 16, the iconic German supermarket will be launching their festive season Beer, Spirit and Liqueur Special Buys, headlined by these fancy gin crackers.

Each bon bon includes a 50ml bottle of premium British gin, with the pack featuring a range of flavours from plain to pink, and even a spiced blue.

Guests can crack them open at the table for a DIY cocktail on the go, or you can hand them out as party favours at the end of the meal – but whatever you do, don’t accidentally pop them on the kids table!

Other steals in ALDI’s Beer, Spirit and Liqueur release include a Mumm Champagne Gift Pack ($59.99), a Brick Lane Craft Beer Pack ($32.99), and to finish off the day’s proceedings, a bottle of O’Donnells Christmas Pudding Country Cream liqueur ($14.99).
