Chrissy Teigen loves food (especially fried potatoes) so much that she’s signed on to produce a documentary celebrating the stories and flavours surrounding the wonderful French fry.

The film, Fries! The Movie, is set to be released sometime in 2020 – and we can’t wait.

According to Variety, the film will follow food scientists, chefs, celebrities and other experts, as they deep-dive into the history and profile of the fried food.

Teigan has said, “I always knew my love of fries and years of experience in the field were meant to serve a higher purpose. Thrilled to work alongside this incredible team and share our findings.”

Christopher Collins, co-founder of Zero Point Zero Productions, is “thrilled to have Chrissy join Fries! The Movie. Her contagious joy and love of food… especially fries, is a perfect fit for the film.”
