Hip hop fans are losing it over the news that Eminem has released the jarred pasta sauce ‘Mom’s Spaghetti’, named after a famous line in the 2002 song, Lose Yourself, which featured in the film 8 Mile: 

“His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy / There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti”.

It’s not the first time the rapper has capitalised on the line. In 2017, Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant popped up in Detroit, and despite the fact that there are only four items on the menu (spaghetti, spaghetti with balls, spaghetti with rabbit balls and s’ghetti sandwich), it has proved so popular that it now has a permanent home there. 

Mom’s Spaghetti sauce went on sale via the restaurant’s website on October 26, and sold out within hours. However, this is one opportunity that comes more than once in a lifetime, yo.
