What’s new at the Easter Show this year?
Plenty is set to happen after 4pm for those who choose to purchase the ‘After 4pm’ ticket, with a new illuminated light parade, as well as stadium entertainment and fireworks every night, as well as rides, of course. You can also get your noodle fix at the new Yum Yum Noodle Market – a buzzing Asian night-market precinct where you’ll find wok-tossed noodles, sizzling skewers and Insta-worthy desserts. Leading the line-up are chef MasterChef guest judge and content creator Vincent Yeow Lim (AKA Dimsimlim); winner of Zumbo’s Just Desserts Catherine Zhang (@catherine.desserts) and content creator Genio Ng (@geniuseatss).
The beloved Berry Donut Van is also making its Show debut this year, so be sure to stop by for some warm and sugary cinnamon doughnuts to fuel you through the day
You’ll also want to have your phone cameras ready for Dragon’s Breath – nitrogen-frozen sweet cereal that sends clouds of vapour billowing from your mouth when you eat it. And at 8pm at night, you can watch David ‘The Bullet’ Smith being launched from a cannon, soaring 35m in the air, human cannonball style. His mum must be so proud.

What showbags are available at the Easter Show this year?
It’s the best bit, right? There are a record 418 showbags available in 2026, and this year’s range combines nostalgic favourites with new releases. Prices range from $5 to $38, with 88 showbags available for $10 and under. You can check out the full list of showbags available, including stand numbers and prices, here.

What food is available at the Easter Show this year?
As well as the Yum Yum Noodle Market and Dragon’s Breath dessert, you can also chow down on some juicy barbecue meats at the Honky Tonk BBQ precinct, or join an oyster masterclass.
Somsom Candy will be offering fairy floss animal art, while fairy floss also features in Fluffy Crunch’s fairy floss Flurolls – coloured fairy floss wrapped around ice cream to deliver a ‘dessert sushi’ experience.

You can also get a classic Cheese on a Stick from Easter Show icon Carmel, who’s been serving the dish for almost 50 years.
Other food on a stick includes the mandatory show-food, the Dagwood Dog, as well as Burger Head’s Nashville Hot Pickle on a Stick, which is a battered and fried pickle topped with spicy Nashville-style seasoning.
You can also make all your fried-food dreams come true with Burger Head’s Scallop Burggah – fried chicken sandwiched between two potato scallops instead of a bun. See you in the queue?

Another big Insta drawcard is the Rainbow Toastie from Carousel Cafe – a Japanese‑inspired grilled sandwich that pulls apart in a long, multicoloured cheese stretch. The viral butter-dipped soft-serve ice cream is also at the Show this year; find it at Looops Funnel Cake.

A clever product combo that lets you eat and drink on the go is Dumpling King’s ‘Sip & Dump Cup’ – steamed dumplings perched above iced tea in a single cup – so you don’t have to miss a moment of the action. And for a real Easter treat, Chimnutz Gold Bunny Brulee features a hot cross bun-inspired chimney cone filled with custard and cake, topped with a brûléed sugar shell and little bunny ears.
The full list of food and drink vendors can be found on the Sydney Royal Easter Show website.
