McDonald's has launched a coriander sundae in China and you can keep it, thanks

Coriander sundae

Know someone who would love this?

Everyone has their favouite Maccas sundae flavour, but I think we can all agree that coriander is not one of them.

Despite the obvious concerns, McDonald’s China has gone ahead and launched an extremely chaotic cilantro sundae, made from soft serve topped with coriander sauce with freshly chopped coriander on the top.

Apparently, some people have tried the sundae (they may have been forced) with reports the flavour tastes like lime and mint.

The new limited edition item is currently on the menu for 6.6 Chinese Yuan (approx. $1.45) and is available to purchase from Feb 21-25 only.

It’s not the first time Maccas has gone rogue with its dessert flavours. In the past, it’s released a Pumpkin Oreo McFlurry in Japan and a Chilli Paste Pork Ice Cream in Thailand.
