The Duchess of Sussex is spreading the love among her inner circle of famous friends, as she soft launches her first lifestyle product.
On the heels of announcing her new cooking show in partnership with Netflix, Meghan Markle has dropped the first product from her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard. More than a month after the Duchess of Sussex launched her new business venture – an online retail store selling everything from tableware, cutlery, cookbooks, servingware, jams and jellies, oils and other home goods.

Markle’s new company’s debut product is a jar of strawberry jam with the brand’s luxury labelling. While details about the product – like ingredients, cost, production – are being kept under wraps, some of the Duchess’ closest friends have been privy to a taste test.
L.A. fashion designer Tracy Robbins uploaded an image of the illusive product to her Instagram story. Robbins included a caption, “Thank you M!”, seemingly referencing her good friend, Markle.
The post gave the public a first look at the label which included the e-commerce company’s logo and a handwritten batch number “17 of 50”, suggesting the item is part of a limited release. The jar is also adorned with a fabric top and ribbon in the shape of a bow. “Montecito” is also listed on the label, hinting that this product was produced in the luxury LA suburb that the Duke and Duchess currently reside in.

Robbins was not the only one to receive a jar of jam. Argentinian socialite Delfina Blaquir also posted a photo of her jar – No. 10 of 50 – to her Instagram account. While we were woefully left of the press send out so can’t comment on the taste of it (yet), you can find us in the kitchen whipping up our own strawberry and vanilla jam. I mean, if it’s good enough for a Duchess, it’s good enough for us.
