It was dreamt up by the pastry guns at New York’s David Burke fabrick, where they layer up pumpkin pie and pecan pie inside a spiced pound cake, covered with cinnamon buttercream and topped with an upside-down apple pie.
We’re not brave enough to ask our food team to dream up a replica recipe, but if you want to make like Zoolander and commit carbicide, this is probably the most time effective way to do it.
