Coca-Cola have discontinued Lift, and we're pretty sour about it

What a way to bring us down.

A lot of change is happening in the Lemonade Cinematic Universe – Coca-Cola have officially discontinued Lift, their classic lemon squash, while Sprite have added two new additions to their lemon soda line – Lemon+ and Lemon+ Zero Sugar.

They boast a new and delicious combination of zesty lemon and caffeine, just what your mind needs to hit refresh – and just what I needed to beat my 3pm slump!

I’m getting notes of Lift – Sprite’s lemon-squash sibling soft drink – but they’re not identical. This might actually be closer to American ‘lemonade’, which uses actual lemon juice.

The Sprite Lemon+ Zero Sugar is much lighter and tangier in comparison to regular Sprite (which combines lemon and lime), and that’s a true plus for those who can’t handle Sprite’s trademark spice.

Sadly, all variations of Lift will be phased out by the end of 2022. Let’s hope Solo stays put.

Sprite’s new Lemon Plus line will be available at all major supermarkets, convenience stores, and petrol stations.
