Pints or schooners? Cash or card? Chicken or Cheese? We’ve heard this triptych time and again at Sunday sessions across the land, but now Twisties has made one of these quandaries easy, with the arrival of Twisties Chickeese – a mix of its chicken and cheese flavoured chips in the same bag.

That’s right. Your weird friend who prefers Chicken Twisties can now join in on the party. While some folks may liken the jumble to finding a rogue Skittle in a bowl of M’n’Ms, others seem somehow delighted by the prospect.

A picture of the new snack was posted to a Reddit thread under the caption “They’ve officially ruined Twisties” inspired some pretty heated conversation for and against the snack. “Ugh. Imagine biting into a Twistie and realising it’s cheese flavoured.” said one Chicken fan.

Another insightful commenter posited, “I feel like at the factory they accidentally mixed a whole bunch together, or there is a place in production where loose but still edible twisties all end up in the same place, and this is marketing’s solution.” Points for sustainability. 

As far as Twisties flavour combos go, the Chickeese is far from the wackiest, the brand having previously released Raspberry Twisties, Cinnamon Doughnut Twisties, and Spicy Ramen Twisties to name just a few.

No matter what side of the Twisties fence you stand on – or those of you who perch somewhere in the middle – the new snack is certainly causing a stir. No official release date has been announced for the Twisties Chickeese yet but until there is, you can go ahead and mix your Twisties all by yourself.
