The next step on Anthony Puharich’s unstoppable journey is the exciting opening of Vic’s in the coveted Bondi Junction. Joining the recently opened Vic’s Chatswood Chase, the Bondi Junction butcher will follow the formula of high-quality cuts of meat, delicious ready-to-cook meals, and small goods made in-house with the care we’ve come to know Vic’s for.

Vic’s signature red and white terrazzo tiles, impressive meat cabinets statement large-scale wooden chopping blocks bring a vintage air to the space – an elegant timewarp in the middle of a bustling shopping centre. The theme crosses time and geography, acting as a through-line for the rapidly expanding Vic’s empire.

From humble beginnings on Oxford Street Sydney, Vic’s has built a reputation as the butcher of choice for Australia’s most celebrated chefs. The Bondi Junction store marks Puharich’s third opening since taking over the family business.

Running parallel with parent company, Victor Churchill, Vic’s flagship at the Sydney Fish Markets, expansions in Chatswood and Bondi Junction, and a Chadstone store in the pipeline, Puharich’s vision of bringing the best of butchery to the people is a story generations in the making.

Puharich is a fifth-generation butcher with over 40 years of experience in the industry, carrying on the legacy of his father and Victor Churchill co-founder, Victor Puharich.
