You only turn 20 once, right? To celebrate the occasion, we gathered our family of contributors for an unforgettable dinner at the Clocktower Bar at Shell House.

The unique destination is housed within the iconic building’s 400-tonne clock. Above the room, a soaring void reveals the fully restored and operating clock mechanism.

The 1930s art deco space was brought to life with a whimsical display of fresh florals and personalised table settings.

But first, cocktails! delicious. drinks writer Mike Bennie created his own canned concoction to toast the special night. The Mike-tini is Mike Bennie’s perfect martini serve – half gin, half vermouth with pared lemon zest.

Editorial Director Kerrie McCallum kicked off the speeches with a toast to 20 years of delicious., and all the incredible contributors that have helped make the magazine what it is today.

Shell House Culinary Director Joel Bickford put together a celebratory menu just for the occasion.

It’s not a delicious. event without a seriously impressive feast. Canapés were served, including freshly-shucked oysters with finger lime and crab with caviar (pictured).

Dishes were shared down the middle of the table, including this culatello with sliced green grapes, fresh tarragon leaves and verjuice.

The guest list included members of the delicious. team, such as Creative Director Hayley Incoll, Editor-in-Chief Samantha Jones and Digital Director John Hannan (L-R).

Also on the guest list were radio presenter and comedian Wippa, delicious. Senior Editor Matt Preston and delicious. contributor Colin Fassnidge.

Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie were also in attendance, as well as acclaimed pastry chef Anna Polyviou.
