Celebrating the best produce that Australia has to offer, the delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards is back for another year to applaud the hard work, dedication and commitment to sustainability of our land’s most impressive farmers, fishers, growers and makers.
In the face of environmental adversity and amid the hangover of the ongoing pandemic, this year’s focus is on all things sustainability and the regeneration of ecosystems that hang delicately in the balance.
Our food producers are at the frontline of an environment in crisis, and the delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards aims to recognise the challenges they face, as well as amplifying the ingenuity taken to overcome them. Whether it be implementing age-old fish-spiking methods, finding clever solutions to beat back a rising water table or doing the hard yards to preserve centuries-old cheesemaking techniques, all the nominees and winners are making great strides towards protecting our planet for future generations.

Harvey Norman Executive Chairman Gerry Harvey said: “Great food experiences, at home or in restaurants, start with the best produce. Australia is blessed with an abundance of the world’s most exceptional producers: from vegie growers to those tending livestock or harvesting fresh seafood.
“We are proud to partner with delicious. on this important program that recognises and celebrates exceptional talent in Australia’s food production industry.”
A total of 14 trophies were awarded by the National Judging panel, which includes some of Australia’s most renowned chefs: Danielle Alvarez, Jo Barrett, Peter Gilmore, Lennox Hastie, Andrew McConnell, Matt Moran, Josh Niland, Matt Stone and Alla Wolf-Tasker. Winners were recognised across four major categories – Dairy, Earth, Paddock and Sea.
2023 also sees a very special award presented to a woman renowned for her passion and dedication to the Australian food industry. For her outstanding contribution to Australian food, our Awards Patron Maggie Beer has received our highest acclaim.
