Start your morning with a nourishing bowl of this dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free acai smoothie that's easy to prepare... and even easier to eat.

Acai Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients (7)

  • 1 heaped cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 frozen peeled banana
  • 1⁄3 cup (80ml) milk of your choice (coconut or almond work well)
  • 2 tbs acai powder
  • 2 passionfruit, halved
  • Coconut flakes, to serve
  • Chopped raw almonds, to serve

Method

  • 1.
    Blend the berries, banana, milk and acai powder in a high-speed blender until smooth (add a touch more milk if needed).
  • 2.
    Pour into two bowls, top with the passionfruit, coconut flakes and almonds, and serve.
