Fried eggs with sucuk
Great for breakfast, just as good for lunch or dinner. Any time of the day is good for this recipe.
Ingredients (6)
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve
- 10 x 1cm-thick slices sucuk (Turkish sausage – from Middle Eastern food shops, substitute chorizo)
- 4 eggs
- Pinch Aleppo pepper (optional)
- 250g cherry tomatoes on the vine, halved
- Toasted sliced Turkish bread, to serve
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Heat oil in a 20cm frypan over mediumhigh heat. Add sausages and cook for 1-2 minutes each side or until golden. Carefully crack eggs over sausages, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, without stirring, for 3 minutes or until just set. Remove from heat and scatter with a pinch of salt flakes and Aleppo chilli, if using.

2.Drizzle with extra oil and serve immediately with tomatoes and toasted Turkish bread.
