If your Instagram didn’t quite make it clear, European summer is upon us. And while you may not be Mykonos bound, there’s no reason why you can’t put a Mediterranean spin on your 'Southside of Mykonos' cocktail with a splash of traditional Mastiha, like they do at Hellenic eatery 1821.
Ingredients (5)
- 45mL gin
- 15mL Mastiha
- 15mL lime Juice
- 15mL sugar syrup
- 1 basil leaf (to garnish)
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Pour all of the Ingredients (excluding the basil leaf) into a cocktail shaker.

2.Shake thoroughly.

3.Double strain the drink and pour into a cocktail glass.

4.Top with a single leaf of basil to garnish.
