Lagerita
Shandies will always hold a special place in our hearts but when it comes to cocktails, beer tends not to be the first ingredient we reach for. Here, we've created a riff on the Lagerita, a drink first created by Simon Ford (of Ford's Gin fame) that sees Pacifico lager top a classic margarita. Perfect for Father's Day (and summer).
Ingredients (7)
- Lime wedge
- Flaked sea salt
- 60ml blanco tequila
- 30ml Cointreau
- 30ml lime juice
- Pacifico Clara
- Lime wheel, to serve

1.Run lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass and dip in a shallow dish filled with salt to coat. Fill glass with ice, then chill in the freezer until ready to serve.

2.In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add tequila, Cointreau and lime juice. Shake vigorously.

3.Strain into the chilled, ice-filled highball glass and top with beer.

4.To serve, garnish with lime wheel.
