Lemon patates
These citrussy potato beauties are the ideal accompaniment to a slow-roasted lamb.
Ingredients (6)
- 1.2kg Maris Piper potatoes (substitute desiree), peeled, cut into wedges
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 200ml extra virgin olive oil
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1 tsp fine semolina
- 1 tsp mountain oregano (substitute regular dried oregano)

1.Preheat the oven to 220°C. Grease a baking tray and line with baking paper.

2.Place all the ingredients in a bowl with 150ml water and 1 tsp salt flakes. Turn to coat potato.

3.Spread potato mixture in the prepared tray and bake for 40 minutes. Turn potato over and return to the oven for a further 30 minutes or until completely tender, golden and crisp on the outside. Shake pan occasionally to ensure potato colours evenly. Serve immediately.
