Little gem lettuce salad with creamy chive dressing
This family-favourite salad is perfect for easy summer entertaining. It's best to prepare just before serving.
Ingredients (5)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) white wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp caster sugar
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1/4 cup chopped chives
- 3 good-sized little gem lettuces or baby cos, leaves separated
Method

1.Place the white wine vinegar, caster sugar, thick cream and chopped chives in a large serving bowl and mix together until well combined.

2.Season to taste with sea salt, then add the lettuce leaves and gently toss together to coat all the leaves in the cream mixture. Transfer to a platter or bowl, then serve the salad straight away with the chargrilled beef.
