Why should martinis have all the fun? We've taken a crowd-pleasing spicy margarita and added our own briny twist for that extra saline kick.
Ingredients (5)
- Lime wedge and flaked sea salt
- 3 pieces pickled jalapeno, plus 1 tbs pickling brine
- 50ml blanco tequila
- 30ml Cointreau
- 20ml lime juice
Don't forget you can add these ingredients to your Woolworths shopping list.

1.Run a lime wedge around the rim of a low-ball glass and dip in a shallow dish filled with salt to coat. Fill glass with ice, then chill in the freezer until ready to serve.

2.Muddle two jalapeno slices in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and top with tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, and jalapeno brine. Shake vigorously.

3.Strain into prepared glass and garnish with remaining jalapeno slice. Serve immediately.
