Summer fruit with lime and chilli salt

Bring the Asian fruit stall to your kitchen with this spicy and tangy street food treat.
Ingredients (5)
- 6 small green Thai chillies, roughly chopped
- Finely grated zest of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup (20g) salt flakes
- 1/2 cup (110g) white sugar
- Sliced summer fruit, to serve (we used pineapple, blackberries and red and yellow dragonfruit)

1.Using a mortar and pestle, pound chilli and zest with a pinch of salt flakes until a very fine paste. Add the sugar and remaining salt flakes and continue to pound until a very fine powder.

2.Combine with a selection of sliced summer fruit on a serving platter, and serve.
Recipe Notes
Lime and chilli salt will keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. The colour will change slightly towards the end.
