Now, new research has emerged from ChooseMyCar, which analyses the cost of a week’s car hire in 100 countries to reveal the cheapest and most expensive destinations in which to rent a vehicle. The list of 100 countries lists them from most to least expensive.
So, which countries should you be choosing for a budget-friendly road trip? And which are at the top tier?
These are the most expensive countries to rent a car in:
- Cambodia, $1737.50
- Ghana, $1734.56
- Benin, $1636.12
- Burkina Faso, $1606.82
- Angola, $1292.92
And, these are the cheapest countries to rent a car in:
- Montenegro, $59.50
- Serbia, $82.52
- Croatia, $107.65
- Bosnia and Herzegovina, $113.50
- Guatemala, $157.28
