We feel cherry-er already.
As Australians cautiously embrace warmer days and gradually easing COVID restrictions, the Yarra Valley’s Cherry Picking Festival is yet another reminder of brighter days ahead.
Held at the picturesque Cherry Hill Orchards each year, the annual Cherry Picking Festival will commence in November 2021 with double the cherry picking locations.

In addition to their popular Wandin East Orchard, Cherry Hill is also opening a new location at Coldstream, in the heart of the Yarra Valley, meaning cherry picking season now comes earlier each year.

From November 13, the 100-acre orchard will welcome visitors to pick from thousands of ripe and sweet cherries, tasty woodfired pizza and on-site wine tastings.
For the gourmands, there’s even a ‘Cherries & Wine’ package, which features the wines of next door neighbours Rochford Wines alongside a two-course lunch, followed by an afternoon of cherry picking at the new Coldstream Orchard.

If you’re keen to savour the cottagecore ~ vibes ~ in style, you can book a Posh Picnic in your own private row at the Wandin East cherry orchard, which includes a fully catered food and beverage package which can be customised based on the size of your group.
