Winter your jam? This pop-up will be right up your slope.
Daily snow showers, an ice skating rink and mugs upon mugs of hot choccy with charred marshmallows – The Winter Village truly is a snow lovers’ dream. And now the alpine pop-up that’s been touring the country has finally confirmed its Sydney dates and venue.
From June 19 to September 12, the winter wonderland will be taking over Prince Alfred Square in Parramatta, setting up a giant ice-rink, a pop-up bar and kitchen that’ll serve everything from giant pretzels with chocolate fudge sauce, to plant-based burgers and lobster and prawn rolls, and no less than 20 very photogenic, private igloos.

And while you are welcome to just wander in and order bites to eat at the casual outdoor seating, the village also offers igloo packages (standard is $49pp and premium is $69pp) that include grazing platters, select drinks and decadent desserts, plus of course the chance to take an embarrassing amount of photos of you posing in the igloo.
Time your visit to be here at 12pm, 3pm, 6pm or 9pm, and you’ll be treated to snow showers, real enough to delight even the most hardened (or should we say iciest) in your crowd.

Should you wish to get out onto the rink, 45-minute skate sessions can be booked online ahead of time. On Mondays from 5-7pm, the purchase of a cocktail will get you the session free. Friday Happy Hour (4-6pm) will get you a complimentary drink with every skate pass.
And on Saturdays and Sundays at 10am, Brunch & Skate ($35 per adult, $22 per kid) will include not just the skate session, but also a well-earned brunch in an igloo.
