A virtual event with real heart.
Australia’s biggest virtual dinner party is happening on Friday August 14th in support of Lifeline and tickets are now on sale.
It’s the perfect opportunity to escape lockdown (virtually) for the night and enjoy a little appropriately socially distanced socialising for an virtual event that can make a real difference.
Organisers s p a c e are promising “a perfectly random, kinda weird, probably a little tech-glitchy evening of music, chat and connections” which, quite honestly, sounds positively perfect to us.
The evening is set to include a live cooking masterclass with Atlas Masterclass chef Charlie Carrington, a stack of digital dining rooms in which you can flex your extensive collection of WFH zoom backgrounds, talks from a few Aussie icons including Craig Reucassel, Magda Szubanski and Will ‘Eggboy’ Connolly, and music from Australia’s Got Talent stars D Minor and Fletcher Pilon.
It all culminates in a massive living room rave that’s certain to help you shake off the corona crazies quick-smart. (Body glitter and glow sticks optional, but highly recommended.)
Every guest will receive an IRL party box in advance, packed with essential supplies for the nighty, including celebratory booze, fresh restaurant-quality ingredients for the masterclass… and presumably a giant thumbs up sticker for the bloody legend that bought the tickets (aka you), and is therefore supporting the awesome work of Lifeline Australia.
Tickets go on sale today Friday August 7th and bookings close Monday August 10th. All proceeds go to support Lifeline Australia. For tickets: https://events.humanitix.com/space-virtual-dinner-party
