Al fresco dining just got decidedly more chill.

Winter Igloo Dining has popped up again this year at Sydney hotel Pier One Sydney Harbour, and it is more luxurious than ever before.

Opening from Thursday, May 5th, the luxe igloo balcony suite at Pier One Sydney Harbour is a foodie must-do this winter. The igloo dining experience has been completely reimagined in its most luxurious possible form, as a cherry blossom wonderland igloo, and we guarantee you’ll want to bring your insta-hubby, because if you didn’t gram it, did it even happen?

This year, the hotel has collaborated with influencer Tara Whiteman (aka Tara Milk Tea) to curate an all-white wonderland with plush furnishings; fluffy, snowball-like footstools; and fairy lights inside a cherry blossom-inspired dome.

“I envisioned a space that would be a retreat for fellow Sydneysiders,” said Tara. “Using a soft white palette and Spring inspired florals, it’s a cosy place that friends, families, and lovers will be able to enjoy throughout the Winter months!”

Each igloo comes with a private chef, who will cook up a feast for you and ten friends. This year’s menu highlights include: Sydney Rock Oysters with Blanc de Blancs and lime leaf dressing, Crudo seasoned spicy tartare in gem lettuce cups and Wagyu mixed cut skewers grilled with mustard and rye sauce.

To level up your igloo experience, there’s also grazing boards, including Pino Dolce Vito charcuterie with pickles, Australian cheeses with quince and dried fruit, sourdough bread, lavosh, grissini and house made dips with marinated olives.
