In an Empire state of mind? Here's where you'll want to head on your next trip to the Big Apple.
Aman’s newest addition in New York may be one of the most anticipated hotel openings of 2020, and when the lavish Fifth Avenue property finally welcomes guests, it is set to offer a touch of gilded age grandeur in the heart of midtown Manhattan.
The new hotel will occupy the entire Crown Building at 730 Fifth Avenue – originally home to the first iteration of the Museum of Modern Art – but beyond its iconic park views, architectural design and sheer neo-classical splendour, Manhattan’s hottest new address will also be home to a new piano bar, a wine library and subterranean Jazz Club.

When it opens in late 2020, the brand’s third US location will house 83 new guest rooms and suites, an almost 25,000-square foot spa and 19 private residences, including a one-of-a-kind five-level park-view penthouse in the building’s apex.
Aman New York will be the first United States location to offer private residences and a members-only club. But that’s not what has our food-lover hearts beating a little faster. The Aman Manhattan location will house a plethora of new venues, bars and restaurants, many of which will boast views of Central Park.

Headlining the new dining offerings is a tenth-floor wraparound Garden Terrace offering year-round dining, a Lobby Piano Bar and two restaurants including Aman’s recently introducing Japanese culinary concept, Nama, alongside Arva, a relaxed Italian style restaurant.
The wine library will be available for private wine tastings and events, and a new subterranean Jazz Club is destined to become an pre-dinner drinks and after hours favourite.
Aman’s newest addition will open later in 2020. For more information and to secure a booking, visit www.aman.com/resorts/aman-new-york/
