Prada Caffè has officially opened at Harrods. Here, the Milan fashion house will be plating up all-day dining in a very stylish fit out. Inspired by Prada’s most famous stores, some of the most signature interior design decisions have been echoed at the cafe. 

Think, black and white chequered floors, velvet sofas in the season’s colour-of-the-moment, pale green, and floral bas-reliefs that intricately decorate the walls. No detail is overlooked here. The tableware has been selected by Prada to complement the surroundings and feature the Prada triangle motif, naturally. 

Now, what you’ve all been waiting for: the menu. A modern take on Italian tradition, there is a wide selection of sweet and savoury dishes and refreshments that are served throughout the day. Morning people can sit down for breakfast when Italian coffee, perfect poached eggs and puff pastries are served. The lunch menu features starters and mains ranging from burrata and zucchini to spinach and ricotta cannelloni with black truffle. 

After a quick bite? A delicious selection of tramezzini (dainty sandwiches) and pizzettes (mini puff pizzas) can be packed to-go. Or take a minute to sit and indulge in a slice of pistachio cake made from pistachio croccantino, sponge and vanilla cream. 

Doing some late night shopping? Treat yourself to an after hours drink. There’s a stellar wine list that spans Piedmont to Sicily and a specially curated signature cocktail only available at the cafe that is a must-try. After all, shopping is thirsty work. 

The Prada Caffe will be running from now until the end of 2023. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 9am-9pm and Sunday 12-6pm. For more information, visit harrods.com
