On the cusp of Malaysia is the romantic Koh Lipe, a Thai island within Tarutao National Marine Park. With its 5 idyllic beaches and a blossoming accommodation scene, Koh Phayam is a rising star among Thailand’s more secluded islands. And while it has more creature comforts than many, it’s still very quiet compared to the likes of party haven Koh Phi Phi. For the rowdy, there’s no better Thai island to visit than the nightlife-loving Koh Pha Ngan. It’s here that the famous full moon parties take place throughout the year (and half moon parties too).
