How many events is considered “too many events”?
Hold onto your wigs because Sydney WorldPride has just released its full Festival Guide for 2023. The annual festival is made up of more than 300 events that will take place between February 17 and March 5 next year.
The biggest news to come out of the announcement is that international pop star Charli XCX will be heading Down Under to headline Live and Proud: Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert, at The Domain on February 24. Joining Charli XCX will be queer icon and national treasure Kylie Minogue, alongside Aussie star Jessica Mauboy.

The party doesn’t stop there. International superstar, Kelly Rowland, will be taking the stage at the Domain Dance Party, where you can dance the night away with 10,000 other partygoers. The seven-hour long festival will see the best local and global DJs take the decks as dancers and surprise acts take the stage, providing a feast for the eyes and ears.
Other hot and in demand events include the Mardi Gras Paradiso Pool Party at ivy Pool, the Bondi Beach Party, where a stage will be set up on the beach, and Blak & Deadly: The First Nations Gala Concert. The iconic Mardi Gras Parade will be returning to where it all began, Oxford Street, on February 25.
We’ve got our dancing shoes and glitter ready to go.
Events are selling out fast. Head to the Sydney WorldPride website to secure your tickets.
