Miss out on the bar cart and the PJs? This one's for you.
Qantas has unveiled a new leisure wear collection by leading Australian fashion designer, Martin Grant, in celebration of the airline’s centenary this year. And if those Frequent Flyer points are burning a hole in your pocket, this is an ideal way to spend them and rake in some fashion cred at the same time.
The limited edition athleisurewear collection features several covetable lounge-worthy pieces like cashmere sweaters, tees, sweatshirts and a tote, emblazoned with retro variations on the airline’s famous logo.
The new pieces combine the iconic Qantas red and navy palette with a striking “wattle yellow” in honour of the Australian native floral emblem.

Grant’s designs have previously graced A-listers like Cate Blanchett and Emma Stone, and he previously designed Qantas pilot and crew uniforms, as well as the airline’s iconic first class pyjamas and amenity kits.

“This collection is all about classic shapes, comfortable styles and materials that are kind on the environment,” said Grant, in a statement. “But the true hero of the designs are the iconic logos that evoke so many fond memories for Australians.”

“Qantas Frequent Flyers have a great fondness for our brand and heritage,” said Qantas Loyalty CEO Olivia Wirth. “Having our iconic logos appear in such a beautifully designed collection will make this range much sought after for people with a passion for both aviation and fashion.”

The new pieces range in price from $150.00 to $425.00. The collection is available for purchase exclusively from the Qantas Rewards Store from Tuesday October 13th, until sold out. And if the recent fully stocked bar carts and business class pyjamas are anything to go by: that will be pretty darn soon.
