Aussies have discovered a “secret” swimming hole on the north coast – and they’re obsessed.
If you haven’t heard of Scouts Falls in Glenreah NSW, one search on TikTok and Instagram and you’ll know all about it. Locals and tourists alike have been flooding the platforms with snaps and clips that show off the “incredible” and “gorgeous” waterfall that’s nestled in Sherwood Nature Reserve, just over 40km north-east of Coffs Harbour.

Despite it being located just 40 minutes from the city, some locals have only just discovered it, saying they had no idea it even existed. It can be challenging to find, which is one of the reasons it’s not as well known with visitors having to navigate through 1.1km of bush and creeks to get there.
Once you complete the trek, you will find what has been described as a “slice of paradise on earth” with the waterhole offering crystal clear swimming at the bottom of the falls. Aussie travel blogger Corey Wiren shared a now viral clip of the hotspot, showing off the waterfall’s crystal clear waters and stunning surroundings.
