It’s been two years since the Manly Pacific closed its doors to the public to undergo a $30 million transformation. And it is now ready to reveal its stunning new look. The 213-room beachside hotel has been reimagined by one of Australia’s leading interior designers, Coco Republic. The result? Coastal luxury at its best.

The new Infinity Residence is the jewel in the crown. This sprawling suite features underfloor heating, a fireplace, ensuite with a freestanding stone bathtub, and a living and dining room that opens up to a private terrace with unequalled views of the ocean. Each guest of the Infinity Residence is welcomed with a beach towel personalised with their initials, customised pillows, fine linens, freshly cut flowers, LaGaia beauty products and their very own personal Beach Butler, on call throughout the stay. Wine lovers won’t be able to resist the mini-bar that comes with two Vintec wine fridges that are stocked with French and Australian wine.

Nine ocean-facing, two-bedroom, two-bathroom Coastal Suites have been given a makeover. Each features all the expected mod-cons from a luxury hotel – think, Smart TV with Google Chromecast, Bluetooth speakers and smart room controls. But these spaces have been designed to help you unwind, whichever way suits you best. The hotel’s wellness menu includes a Peloton bike (upon request), Peloton classes, a yoga mat, resistance band, yoga block, LaGaia face masks, calming or motivational playlists, and more. If you struggle disconnecting from your devices at night (we’re looking at the workaholics), there’s a service that will take your device from 8pm and return it in the morning. Simply choose what suits you best.

Good news: it’s not just the rooms that have been given some TLC. 55 North is a vibrant new bar that sits adjoining the lobby and was designed by Luchetti Krelle. When it comes to dining, you’ll find a Japanese-fusion menu at Tokyo Joe and a French-coastal menu from the award winning Bistro Manly. There’s also a new sun-soaked rooftop pool overlooking Manly Beach from where you can indulge in Black Pearl Siberian Caviar, Southern Rock Lobster, champagne and a range of fresh seafood nibbles. Bliss.

Just next to the rooftop pool and sundeck, there’s an infrared sauna that guests can book through the hotel’s concierge service or ‘Beach Club’. If you want to take full advantage of the hotel’s coastal location the Beach Club team can also arrange personal experiences like surfing lessons, kayaking, beach yoga, massages, and more for you.
