And we're head over heels.
First held in Florence, the much anticipated Gucci Garden Archetypes multimedia exhibition has made a fashionable touch down in Sydney at the Powerhouse Ultimo.
Joining the global trend of multimedia art exhibitions – think Van Gogh Alive and the upcoming Frida Kahlo: Life of an Icon – Gucci has recreated and reimagined its most groundbreaking advertising campaigns as envisioned by the fashion house’s creative director, Alessandro Michele.
Gucci fans will take a nostalgic trip down memory lane as past brand campaigns are brought to life through cutting edge technology, elaborate hand-crafting and innovative interior designs, creating immersive worlds from one exhibition room to the next.

One of the most notable campaigns featured throughout the exhibition includes the 2017 Gucci Bloom commercial, which starred actor Dakota Johnson. The campaign has been revived here in the form of a scented floral paradise.
Visitors can also enter a mirrored labyrinth inside a stately home, like the one at the heart of the Cruise 2016 campaign, and ride on a replica LA subway carriage, as seen back in the Fall Winter 2015 campaign – Michele’s first.

Gucci Garden Archetypes will be running from November 17, 2022 – January 15, 2023, from 10am–5pm Friday to Wednesday, and 10am–9pm on Thursdays. Admission is free. For more info, head here.
