In just a few hours, the iconic ‘Home Alone’ house will become available to book on Airbnb.

On Tuesday December 7th at 1pm Central Time (that’s 6am Wednesday December 8th AEST), travellers will have the chance to request a booking at the house for up to four guests.

The home in Winnetka, Illinois has been completely restored to its true Home Alone glory: from the awe-inspiring Christmas decorations right through to the cupboards full of junk food.

Given the movie’s many memorable booby traps, it’s also probably worth keeping an eye out for stray Christmas ornaments on the floor.

You and up to four guests can stay in the master suite (aka Kevin McCallister’s parents bedroom) which hosted that shaving scene, enjoy a cosy candlelit night in with your own large cheese pizza, and microwavable macaroni and cheese.

The whole experience is being hosted by none other than Kevin’s big brother Buzz. Oh, and his pet tarantula.

“While we’re away on vacation (all of us, this time), I’m inviting one crew of mischief makers to let their inner eight-year-olds run free in my childhood home,” reads the listing.

“It’s a holiday wish come true: a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree awaits you at the McCallister “castle” (oh, and so does my pet tarantula – mind watching him for me?)”

The one-night only stay includes 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms and is priced at $25. Keep the change, ya filthy animal.
