Brb, packing my swimmers and sunscreen.
Aussies love to travel, especially if they can get bang for their buck. It’s no wonder Southeast Asia has become one of the most popular destinations for Australian travellers. And now there’s a new holiday hotspot that just became more accessible.
Jetstar has announced that it will begin flying direct to Cebu in the Philippines as of November 27 this year. Jetstar will operate flights from Brisbane to the Filipino archipelago three times per week when the route launches. The new route will make travelling to the Philippines much more affordable for Aussies, which in this cost of living climate is a welcome relief.
This new route also marks the first direct connection between Australia and Cebu. For those not familiar with Cebu, it’s often referred to as the ‘Queen City of the South’ and is an island province in the Philippines. Holidaymakers love it for its stunning beaches, coastal activities and outdoor adventure. Cebu is also the gateway to the stunning Visayan Islands for those looking to uncover a slice of paradise.
