And it's bringing delicious new food offerings to the region too.
The Langham, Gold Coast may not be opening until the end of 2021, but we’re already planning our stay at Queensland’s newest luxury resort.
Langham Hospitality Group announced that it is set to open its third luxury hotel in Australia, on the Gold Coast. The Langham, Gold Coast will feature 169 rooms and suites, alongside 170 additional serviced apartments in the Jewel Residences by The Langham.
The hotel and serviced apartments will take prime position on the beachfront at Surfers Paradise, and are set to become the central, and tallest, of the three landmark towers in the Jewel development.
All 18 suites will feature an impressive 180-degree uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean, with the hotel interiors by Sydney-based Studio Aria set to reflect the prime coastal location, nearby national parks and Gold Coast hinterland.

The Langham, Gold Coast development will bring a host of new dining experiences to Surfers Paradise, including signature Cantonese restaurant T’ang Court, and lavish afternoon teas in Palm Court, which will be modelled after its namesake in London.
The hotel will also offer a new cafe, lobby lounge, pool bar, sky terrace and ultra-luxe 500-square metre Chuan Spa, with seven private treatment rooms. It will also be the first new development to have direct beach access to Surfers Paradise in thirty years.
“The Langham, Gold Coast and The Jewel Residences are unlike any other resort or serviced apartments currently available on the Gold Coast. It will be the ultimate place to stay, offering unparalleled luxury experiences for families, couples, honeymooners holidaying here,” says Simon Manning, chief sales and development officer. “And for the locals, it is the perfect setting to celebrate special occasions or beachfront staycations.”
Several of The Langham restaurants have garnered international recognition, including the three Michelin-starred T’ang Court in Hong Kong.
