Banksy, but in exhibition form.
Ever wanted to see Banksy art without having to hunt it down on the street? We kid you not, now you can. Aussie art lovers can see some of the infamous artists’ most iconic artworks all in one place.
The Art of Banksy: Without Limits is an immersive exhibition that features more than 150 pieces of the artist’s most iconic works and will tour our capital cities. Following the staggering success of multimedia exhibitions of late (think Van Gogh Alive and Frida Kahlo: Life of an Icon), Banksy’s work will come to life through projected animations, installations, murals (of course), and sculptures.

There will be multiple rooms to experience the works. The Infinity Room will feature mirrored walls that will make the artworks seem like they go on forever. Banksy’s largest work to date, Dismaland – a project that popped in England in 2015 and depicted an apocalyptic theme park – is reimagined through projected video.
Works that have recently been created, but not been readily accessible will also be on display, including seven murals that originally popped up in war-torn Ukraine.
Brisbanians were the first to catch the exhibition. It will be heading to Adelaide next, opening in August at the Myer Centre. After its stint in Adelaide, the exhibition will head to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Art lovers can get their hands on tickets for the Adelaide show from July 12.
The Art of Banksy is open from Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 8pm, Saturday 9am – 4.30pm and Sunday 11am – 4.30pm. All ages are welcome. Children tickets are $27 and adults are $39. For more information or to buy tickets, visit artofbanksyau.com
