Sky’s the limit for Atria.
As we await the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne with bated breath, the luxury hotel group has given us a taste of what’s to come. On March 23, the hotel will open its signature dining offering, Atria.
Located on Level 80, the opulent restaurant will offer diners an uninterrupted view of the city, from the bay to the mountains. Executive Chef, Michael Greenlaw, has spent over 15 years in five-star hotels and Michelin-starred restaurants – including Melbourne’s own Vue de Monde.

Greenlaw will craft seasonal menus that will highlight local and native produce sourced from small-scale growers and artisan producers. Think Oak Hill truffles cultivated in the Central Highlands to Mount Martha mussels from the Mornington Peninsula and Blackmore Wagyu from the Victorian High Country. A keen diver, Greenlaw has an eye for the unusual and will often source inspiration for his menus below sea level across bays and oceans throughout Melbourne and Victoria.
“Our vision for Atria and the dining experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is driven by a quest for the unusual, the hard to find and the hyper-seasonal. It’s this quest that shapes the way we source our produce, informs our menus and inspires the culinary experiences we create for diners. We want Melburnians as well as guests to adopt Atria as their own,” says Greenlaw, who will work in partnership with Culinary Advisor to the hotel, Mark Best.

Atria will share the premium floor with the hotel’s new signature bar, Cameo. This cocktail bar will showcase exceptional spirits, rare vintages and the art of mixology. So whether you’re after an aperitif or digestif, Cameo is conveniently just steps away from your table.
